Painting Incubus

I finished the first three Incubi for my Legion. I now have enough painted Incubi  for my Afflictor to run around. Finishing these 3 also put me at 20% fully painted for my entire collection! It is a pretty awesome achievement.

Painted Nephilim Bolt Thrower

This model finishes off the base models for Saeryn's 50 point Theme Force. Booya! I now have all the Nephilim I own painted until the Bloodseer comes out (which I'm super excited for). I really hope the next warlock for Legion does something to bump them up or we get a Molik Karn of Nephilim as a character warbeast. Would be pretty awesome.

Painted Nephilim Protector

Working on Saeryn's Theme Force meant this guy had to get painted. He performed really well the last game I played with him. Against a non-Purification warcaster/warlock, he'll really shine with Safeguard. Really like that animus.

Painted Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion

Finished the first of two Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellions. She did so well in my game with her on Tuesday that I figured she should get finished. That way she can rock out harder. A really good model with some nice rules in game.

Painted Warmongers

I finished the Warmongers I started many, many years ago. I want to get some theme forces done, specifically Thagrosh1's and Rhyas' second theme force. Warmongers are also my test scheme for my Warspears, which will be on the painting list soon.

These models also put more over 19% painted. That's currently 438 models. Ugh, that's a lot. I still have a lot to go, but my progress this year has been very awesome. I'm currently 51 models into my 120 model goal for the year. I think Vayl's theme forces will push me over the halfway mark, hopefully before the halfway mark of the year. I'm also 22 models away from having a fifth of my models painted. Gencon is coming up, which is pretty much guaranteed to screw the percentage up.

Painted Nephilim Soldiers

My two Nephilim Soldiers have been a little more than half painted since December 2010. I decided to finally finish them off tonight. Saeryn's theme force demands it!
They looked like this back in the day: http://pokeminiatures.blogspot.com/2010/12/theme-forces-at-black-sun-games-big.html

Now they look like the following photos.

Painted Thagrosh the Messiah

I finally finished all the currently released Legion of Everblight warlocks with Thagrosh the Messiah. He's a pretty beefy monster in game and I look forward to killing a lot of things with him and his beasts. Manifest Destiny is amazing inside Legion.

Painted Afflictor and Naga Nightlurker

Finished the two light warbeasts I plan on running for Legion. The Nightlurker has a special place in my heart because of Shadow Bind and is a pretty kickass ranged platform too! I'm really excited to try the Afflictor out, I just wanted him painted first. I now need to paint 2 Incubi ASAP for him to infect my enemies with. :)

Painted Succubus

Working my way through the Legion support solos, I've finished the Succubus. She's a good addition to a few of my lists and I can't wait to play with her in my upcoming games.

Painted Forsaken

Here's my 4th painted Forsaken, along with one of the previous ones. I'm much happier with the wings on this one and hope I can keep reproducing that for my Archangels and Afflictors.

Painted Spell Martyrs

I'm just really happy to have these three done. I'm probably going to get rid of the glow effect on the chin if it doesn't grow on me in the next few days.

Painted Blighted Nyss Shepherd

Yes, this is the same model as last night. I have two of them and they both make a majority of my lists. They needed to get painted. :) They are now. Woohoo!

Painted Blighted Nyss Shepherd

Finished the first support solo for the Legion of Everblight army that isn't a Forsaken. I have one more to go after her, then it'll be onto Spell Martyrs and a Succubus.

Painted Kallus, Wrath of Everblight

No post Adepticon slump here! I finished Kallus tonight in a show of effort to stave off any attempts to not paint for the next two months. I'm going to be working on warcasters/warlocks for a bit until I decide to really jump into a faction to paint. This'll be fun!

Painted Vayl, Consul of Everblight

Finished my first model for fun lately. :) I really enjoyed painting Vayl2 and I'm very happy not to be in a painting funk due to Adepticon.

Painted Belphagor (with updated Bethayne pics)

Finally got around to finishing the other half of Bethayne's soul, Belphagor. Very interesting beast, not that many colors needed to paint him, but a surprising amount of detail. My favorite part is the different inserts into his chest. The open one is ok, but the one with Bethayne in it is freaking sweet! I really like the part where you can see Bethayne's chest piece through the claws. Let's you know she's really inside (besides seeing her legs and arms hanging out...).

Painted Bethayne

Another day, another warlock. This time I've finished Bethayne. Tonight/tomorrow is finishing Belphagor and associated bits.

My apologies for the crappy photos.

New Preview: Afflictor

Legion of Everblight is getting an interesting new warbeast, the Afflictor. Somehow it spawns Incubi when it hits a target which can have some great uses in game. Getting more Incubi for free is always a plus. I really want to see the rules of it.

New Previews Naga Nightlurker and Asphyxious the Hellbringer

Privateer Press gave us two (total three) models I can't wait for! Ashpyxious and the Naga Nightlurker. I really like the aesthetics of both models and can't wait to own them. Very, very excited.

Two Player Starter For Hordes

Privateer didn't say for sure that they'd come out with a Hordes version of the Two Player Starter when the Warmachine one came out, but almost everyone could have guessed it! Today they released what the models for it will be.
