Painted Wraith Engine - Final

Well, I finished my Wraith Engine. It needed to be done by Saturday, but I managed to knock it out in one night. All I really did was add a fence and a dead Menite to the base, to make it more interesting than just a blank base.

After this, the Wraith Engine will be finished. I got the cloth painted and drybrushed and all the metal washed. Now all I need to do is to do the base. I'm adding a fence and a dead Menite to the base, along with flock and ballast. I think it'll look alright.

Here's more of my progress on my Wraith Engine. I need to finish the bone, the cloth, and then base the big guy for a painting competition this weekend. I like him and it is a very interesting piece to paint.

Here's the beginning of my Wraith Engine. So far Bane Base and Bane Highlight for the armor plates, Pig Iron for the hoses. It went surprisingly fast for those parts, but I still have a ways to go!

Painted Erebus

I finished Erebus up today. After I did that, I spent some time gathering supplies for a DIY light box, which I'm happy to say is setup and providing me much better photos that previously. Here's the model.

Painted Erebus - WIP

Here my current work on Erebus. I'm quite happy with how the armor came out. It is Bane Base with a drybrush of Bane Highlight over it. My FLGS owner likes it so much he's got me mostly convinced I need to do it on all of my warjacks. I'm mostly inclined to believe him on it so my next Defiler/Ripjaw will feature that colored armor rather than black.

Upcoming Events

On October 29th, I'm running a 50 Point Coin Event at Hobbytown USA, in New Berlin, WI. This event will feature coins for each faction from the Wrath and Domination kits if we get over 9 players.

On November 12th, I'm running a 50 Point Domination Event at Hobbytown USA as well. This should be a blast as the book will be out on 11/9 hopefully! I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of Hordes models on the table!

Painted Lord Exhumator Scaverous

I've been working on Lord Exhumator Scaverous for about two weeks now, in an attempt to get him finished for Lost Hemisphere's Paint the Target for September. I failed to finish it then because he has a crazy amount of detail.
Today, the bug bit me to be painting while I watched football, baseball, and then more football. So here he is.
