Painted Afflictor and Naga Nightlurker

Finished the two light warbeasts I plan on running for Legion. The Nightlurker has a special place in my heart because of Shadow Bind and is a pretty kickass ranged platform too! I'm really excited to try the Afflictor out, I just wanted him painted first. I now need to paint 2 Incubi ASAP for him to infect my enemies with. :)

Painted Succubus

Working my way through the Legion support solos, I've finished the Succubus. She's a good addition to a few of my lists and I can't wait to play with her in my upcoming games.

Painted Forsaken

Here's my 4th painted Forsaken, along with one of the previous ones. I'm much happier with the wings on this one and hope I can keep reproducing that for my Archangels and Afflictors.

Painted Spell Martyrs

I'm just really happy to have these three done. I'm probably going to get rid of the glow effect on the chin if it doesn't grow on me in the next few days.

Painted Blighted Nyss Shepherd

Yes, this is the same model as last night. I have two of them and they both make a majority of my lists. They needed to get painted. :) They are now. Woohoo!

Painted Blighted Nyss Shepherd

Finished the first support solo for the Legion of Everblight army that isn't a Forsaken. I have one more to go after her, then it'll be onto Spell Martyrs and a Succubus.

Painted Kallus, Wrath of Everblight

No post Adepticon slump here! I finished Kallus tonight in a show of effort to stave off any attempts to not paint for the next two months. I'm going to be working on warcasters/warlocks for a bit until I decide to really jump into a faction to paint. This'll be fun!

Painted Vayl, Consul of Everblight

Finished my first model for fun lately. :) I really enjoyed painting Vayl2 and I'm very happy not to be in a painting funk due to Adepticon.

Painted Durgen Madhammer

The final model I needed to have painted for Adepticon 2013, Durgen Madhammer. I used General Ossrum's paint scheme on him, and I think he looks really decent. Very similar to the studio scheme. He painted quickly, in about 2 hours time. I might have to paint Gorten Grundback up just to have the trifecta all done.

Painted Intercessor Kreoss

This is the 2nd to last model I need to paint for Adepticon 2013. I was pretty worried about him because I have a very hard time painting Exemplar models. Turns out, like all new models, he was easier to paint than a lot of the old models. I'm really happy how he came out and want to finish him Theme Force now along with Kreoss1 and Kreoss2. Should be a piece of cake after Adepticon!

Painted Vyros, Incissar of the Dawnguard

With only a model left to paint for Adepticon 2013, here's Vyros2 for your viewing pleasure. I really enjoyed painting the horse. Vyros himself wasn't as much fun because he just didn't feel as detailed. It was suggested that I paint the fin on the top of the horse's head a different color. Suggestions?

Painted Midas

Finished the final Farrow warlock I needed for Adepticon. Midas looks pretty good for me not being able to paint blood or flayed flesh well at all. I want to play Farrow again now, thanks Faction ADD...

Painted Karchev the Terrible

Finally finished Karchev the Terrible up. He's a big model, paints like a warjack, but has a bunch of extra stuff that ate up a lot of my time. I'm glad he's done. I'd be happier if this were Friday instead of Sunday, though. I have 11 more to do in 24 days. Time to get onto another...

Space Wolf Objective Marker

Finally got ahold of some 40mm round GW bases (thanks, twin). Now I can get to crackin' on my 3 objective markers for Adepticon. Here is my first attempt:

Painted Kommander Orsus Zoktavir

First off, I like the model. Second, I hate the base. I rubbed so much paint off of it painting it that I know I'll always be doing touchups on it. :| Really not happy with that. I'm happy with how he turned out, so much that I really want to play his Theme Force soon. :) Gotta buy lots of Doom Reavers...

Painted Forward Kommander Sorscha

Amazingly enough, for such a relatively simple model, it took 14 colors to finish Forward Kommander Sorscha. She's done now and I'm happy my color scheme is working out for Khador. It is the basic scheme with a slight modification to the black. Instead of using Thamar Black, I'm using Coal Black to give it a green tint that looks different than straight black. Very interesting if you know about it.

Mike will be happy I highlighted the base. :P

Painted Kommander Strakhov

One of my favorite Khadoran warcasters, Kommander Strakhov joins the ranks of fully painted models. I really like his model. He painted up really easily as well, seeing that he's one of the later models by Privateer.

Painted Koldun Kommander Zerkova

The first of my Khadoran warcasters to be painted, Koldun Kommander Zerkova was picked to figure out the scheme for my Khadorans. She's a pretty easy model to paint and she took about 1.5 hours to crank out. She ended up looking a little too innocent in the face for such a wicked bitch of a woman. She knows her goals and what she needs to do to get them. She's also not afraid to break a few necks to do it.

Painted Belphagor (with updated Bethayne pics)

Finally got around to finishing the other half of Bethayne's soul, Belphagor. Very interesting beast, not that many colors needed to paint him, but a surprising amount of detail. My favorite part is the different inserts into his chest. The open one is ok, but the one with Bethayne in it is freaking sweet! I really like the part where you can see Bethayne's chest piece through the claws. Let's you know she's really inside (besides seeing her legs and arms hanging out...).

Another day, another warlock. This time I've finished Bethayne. Tonight/tomorrow is finishing Belphagor and associated bits.

Painted Rask

Rask is a pretty cool model. So many paint schemes can be applied to him that make him look awesome. You can easily find skins of Murlocs from World of Warcraft to place onto him and he'd look great. I went for something very similar to the base scheme from Privateer Press. Took only 2ish hours to paint, pretty happy to have him done.

At this point, I'm 75% of the way done with the Minion warlocks. I have Strum & Drang and Midas left to do for warlocks. I still have Lug and Skarath to paint for the Lesser Warlocks, but I'm not worrying about them until after Adepticon.

My plan for Rask's theme force is to paint two units in his scheme, one unit in the default Privateer Press scheme, and a fourth unit in a different scheme I don't have yet. The two units in Rask's scheme will be his personal enforcers and they'll ambush more often than not. The unit in Privateer's scheme will be Rask's bodyguards, the Bog Trogs he doesn't trust. They get the benefit of dying for Rask. The fourth is really up for debate on how it plays, but should be fun. That is, if I can finish the first unit...

Painted Calaban, The Grave Walker

As per my usual lately, finished another Minion warlock, this time it being Calaban. I was a little afraid of this model due to the checkerboard on the mask, but that turned out to be pretty easy as the details were there. For a simple model, he has a ton of colors and a lot to paint on him. Very impressed with him.

Painted Dr. Arkadius

Here's the mad doctor himself. I'm happy with how sinister the model came out. I really want to play Minions now, specifically Farrow.
