Finishing off Captain Caine was awesome. Finishing off Lieutenant Caine was just icing on the cake. The models are painted pretty much the same. I'm very happy with how both look. Here's some shots of him alone and both versions.

Painted Captain Caine
So, yes, I need to finish his base, but hell if he isn't the rest of the way done. Very happy with how he turned out. The face, hair, and armor turned out exactly like I hoped for! Very happy to have this guy done! Enjoy!

WIP Caines
I'm working on painting both Lieutenant Allister Caine and Captain Allister Caine. The models are pretty much identical in gear, making it easy to paint one, then paint the exact same color in the same place on the other model. This is two of the six basic colors on the model, not including flesh, hair, or eyes (which add 5ish colors).

Painted Iron Lich Overseers and Scavenger
On Friday, I finished two of these models, the second Overseer and the Scavenger. They finish the Witch Coven of Garlghast's second Theme Force, putting me to a total of 12 painted 50 point tier-4 Theme Forces.

Painted Iron Lich Overseer
Working on the second Theme Force for the Witch Coven of Garlghast means I need to paint 2 Iron Lich Overseers. Well, here is the first. The second, which will match this, is going to be done soon too.

The Space Wolves have an option in their codex that no model exists for: the Chooser of the Slain.

Painted Ragman
I needed to get my Ragman painted to start playing some kickass lists without Bane Thralls, Wraith Engine, or Goreshade the Bastard. :) I've got some Colossal cracking lists that need some playtime and Ragman gets a front row seat to provide help.
I painted him in about 36 minutes, which is probably the fastest I've ever painted a model. I'm happy with how he came out, he does well for what I'm going for. He's my 390th painted model as well. I'm getting pretty close to 400 now!

Finished Kraken
After my friend Michael convinced me to paint the rivets, I had a swell time doing that. It is the most evil thing anyone can suggest. :P I'm really happy to have finished this beast and can move onto other projects. He's getting a game Tuesday to try him with the new paintjob.

Kraken, Bit By Bit.
For the last week now, I've been working on getting my Kraken fully painted so I can play it. I'm really excited to use it more with Asphyxious the Hellbringer but also with Warwitch Deneghra and Pirate Queen Skarre. The Kraken has so many uses and is really versatile in its operation. I'd like to get more playtime with it, but it needs to get painted before it can see any table time (new rule this year).
To paint it, I kept the Kraken in 4 parts. I had the legs, the body, and the two claws separate. The body prevents me from getting to some angles on the legs and the legs prevents the same to the body. The claws/arms prevent access to both. It was just easier to have everything separate and paint it that way. It is a lot lighter as well.

A New Year...
So, I haven't posted in awhile. So long in fact that I didn't really post anything of what was new in December or what I've been working on. What can I say, December was pretty crazy. :)
In this month, I painted Cassius and Wurmwood, 4 Gallows Groves, 2 units of Stonewards and Woldstalkers, a Blackclad Wayfarer and a Scarsfell Griffon. These finished up the 3 Theme Forces I was working on for Circle, Baldur1's, Baldur2's, and Cassius' second Theme Force. Pretty happy to get up to 10 fully painted Theme Forces.
Without further ado, the painted models...
