Finished Woldwatcher and WIP Druids of Orboros

I finished my second Woldwatcher after getting the Woldwrath done. Going from the Woldwrath to the Woldwatcher was crazy...I finished all the colors up in less than 2 hours and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Finished Woldwrath

I finally got motivated to finish the Woldwrath. It feels really, really good to have him done. Now I just have to pick the next couple of models to paint...

He's painted in the same style as all of my Wolds, light stone with green runes and orange/red leaves. I'm very happy to have him done and I think he looks great. Baldur and Cassius are going to enjoy their new toy!

Woldwrath WIP 2

Continuing with my Woldwrath from before, I'm much further along then before. I've finished all the green in the groves across the entire model. I've also got the layer of wood down to get a drybrush and it'll be finished. I really just have to finish the ropes, that last drybrush, and clean up all the little mistakes I've made along the way. I'm pretty happy with him currently.

Leviathans

Leviathans is a pretty cool boardgame, if you ever get a chance to demo it you should. Dave and I recently had a go at Scenario #1. English vs. French.

GW Feva'

Been banging out a bunch of GW stuff lately, mostly inspired by my aquisition of Space Hulk (original 1989 version Baby!). I figured, what the hey, might as well give 40K one more shot.

Hugo somehow managed to do a bang up job with object source lighting: check it out.

Current WIPs: Woldwrath, Woldwatcher, Gallows Groves

So I haven't done any painting at all since a few days before Gencon. I felt burnt out and a bit of a slacker. I finally shook that off today. Today I spent 7 hours painting the initial base coats of stone for the Woldwrath (that I picked up at Gencon), my second Woldwatcher, and 2 of my Gallows Groves. Next up on the list is getting the drybrush on, then either painting the wood or going nuts on the green inlay for all of the runes. Either way, it'll be a lot of work and a lot of fun!
